Stonehill College

Huntress Associates Inc. is proud to have provided design, master planning, engineering, permitting and construction administration services for the new W.B. Mason Stadium at Stonehill College. The new athletic facilities are now complete and include the following:

- Eight Lane 400 Meter Track & Field

- Multi-Purpose Synthetic Turf Field

- NCAA Competition Soccer Field

- 2500 Seat Grandstand & Sports Lighting

Working with Stonehill College, HAI designed an athletic facility able to accommodate all the needs of a growing institution. Adjacent to the new stadium, HAI provided design services for the new Lou Gorman Baseball Field and two natural grass soccer fields. Additional landscaping and site features help to complement and connect the existing campus into the newly renovated 15 acre athletic complex.

The final Master Plan provided a review of two different sites on campus, including a summary of environmental permits required for either location. Construction was completed and marked by a Grand Opening celebration on September 10, 2005.
