Huntress Associates Inc. provided planning, design, permitting and construction administration services for a new $4.5 million synthetic turf baseball field, along with new bathrooms, trainings rooms and six tennis courts at Salem State College in Salem, Massachusetts.

The new NCAA Baseball Field was opened in the Summer of 2008, and features synthetic turf atop a state-of-the-art drainage system, a new sound system, wireless scoreboard, pressbox, bathrooms, dugouts and 200 seat grandstands. All improvements are ADA compliant and handicapped accessible.

The project received approval from the Salem Conservation Commission, and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection. Construction began in the Fall of 2007, and was successfully completed in the Summer of 2008.
