Pomfret School

Huntress Sports provided design and engineering services to the Pomfret School in Pomfret, Connecticut for the installation of three new synthetic turf fields. This effort represents a $4.0 million athletic field improvement plan, and greatly enhance the school and camp programs run from this facility. The project consists of two fields; one double field planned for field hockey and lacrosse, and the other is a renovation of their existing natural grass football field into a new synthetic turf field for both football and soccer.

All fi elds will have wireless scoreboards, sports lighting, fencing, walkways, parking areas and associated landscape improvements. The project has received all local approvals and construction is scheduled to begin in the Fall of 2010.
