Central Street Athletic Facility
Newbury, Massachusetts

Huntress Associates, Inc. provided master plan, design, permitting and engineering services for this 65-acre athletic complex overlooking the Parker River in Newbury, Massachusetts. Working closely with the Newbury Recreation Committee, HAI completed topographic and boundary survey, wetland resource and endangered species delineation, athletic program development, schematic design, construction documents, and preliminary construction cost estimates. The project was successfully completed in the fall of 2002. Construction was completed on time, and within the $500,000 budget approved by Town Meeting.
