The Meadows Condominiums
North Andover, Massachusetts
At the entry to the Meadows, the Master Plan
creates an urban village of 190 homes surrounding a formal village
green. The architectural style is reminiscent of Boston's Beacon
Hill, creating a sense of place that is reinforced by brick sidewalks,
ornamental fencing and formal planting design. In the second phase
of the design, 90 attached townhouses will be situated in a rural
setting, surrounded by Harold Parker State Forest. These townhouses
are designed to reflect the rambling nature of a New England farmhouse,
with varied rooflines, front porches, and a Community Meeting House.
The project was approved by the North Andover Zoning Board
of Appeals and is anticipated to begin construction in the fall of
2003.
